Awards
Due to a series of very serious health related issues with key people at NFPN, we had to postpone our 2009 awards ceremony. Those health issues are still unresolved and unfortunately we won’t be holding the postponed ceremony at all.
We are really disappointed that we couldn’t get together and celebrate the great work of the people and organisations who have won their categories.
The WINNERS of the NFPN Non-profit Excellence Awards are:
1. CEO of the Year – Carmel Dundon Trees for Life SA
2. Project of the Year – Muttacar - Sorry Business Artback NT
3. Team Member of the Year – Patricia Levitzke-Gray WA Deaf Society
4. Organisation of the Year – Peer Support Australia
5. Partnership of the Year – SUSO (Stepping up stepping out)
Partnership Participants – Odyssey House VIC / Task Force / Youth Projects / Interact Australia / Judy Lazarus Transition Centre
Congratulations to each of them. We’ll be showcasing these winners during 2010 in our online publication, Not-for-profit Management, where you can read all about them and the work they do.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the Judges for their time and dedication to the process of selecting the finalists and winners. It was not an easy task for them as the calibre of the entries were very high.
Thank you also to all who nominated.
Due to the unresolved health issues the NFPN Awards will not be held in the future until further notice.
