Learning Experiences
Here are a few of the learning opportunities available for you in 2008:
- The International Not-for-profit Convention and Exhibition – INCE Upon a Time… The fifth International Not-for-profit Convention and Exhibition offers three days of challenge and inspiration, and will incorporate the second annual Not-For-Profit Network Awards gala awards night. This event brings together people from all levels of nonprofits including board members, CEOs, membership managers, marketing managers, fundraising managers, business development managers, sponsorship managers, accounts managers and more. Whether its just yourself or you bring your whole team, INCE is a fantastic opportunity to grow your organisation!
- Executive Update - The Executive Update will comprise executive level facilitated sessions run concurrently with practical seminars and workshops. This event has three concurrent sessions that cover a wide variety of topics including good governance practices, human resources, time management, and income generation. At this event you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, exchange experiences with other delegates and take away tools to help you grow your organisation.
- Workshops - These sessions aim to provide practical advice and ideas to help you do your job better. They cover topics including governance, membership, marketing, fundraising, grants, lobbying, media relations, technology and more.
Resources
- Supplier directory - Access the list of suppliers who represent the best products and services available to the Australasian nonprofit sector.
- Resource Library – This soon to be members-only online library showcases the best available resources on the web for non-profit professionals, including information on governance, management, marketing, fundraising, member recruitment and retention and more.
Recognition
The Not-For-Profit Network Awards program highlight and recognise the achievements of not-for-profit organisations, people and projects. This awards program is unique in the Australasian sector as it’s open to all non-profits including industry bodies, professional associations, unions, charities, community service organisations, disability service providers and more.
